Micallef Cigars

Micallef Cigars is a brand new boutique cigar company that has come onto the cigar scene like a bull in a china shop. But in the best way possible!

These guys are based in Texas (which is home to some of the finest boutique companies in the world. hehe). They got into the business, bought their own factory, and started making some of the finest cigars you’ve ever set fire to.

The first time I ever smoked a Micallef, it was obvious that they would quickly be in the top echelon of the boutique cigar world.

This particular blend is the Sumatra Blend–getting it’s name from the beautiful Sumatra wrapper it features. (Having smoked through the entire Micallef Cigars lineup, we’ve settled on the Sumatra as our favorite.)

This blend is very complex with a full-body and full-strength. Flavors are leather, red wine, raw sugar, black coffee, cedar, heavy cream, and spice. It’s really outstanding!

Don’t be surprised to see this cigar cross over into larger publications. The fanfare around these cigars has been exponential. My prediction is that you’ll see Micallef Cigars on the Cigar Aficionado Top 25 List very soon!
